Agreement

By installing or using JobTally, you agree to these Terms of Service. JobTally is operated by Presdin Works LLC. If you do not agree to these terms, do not install or use the extension.

What JobTally does

JobTally is a free Chrome extension that connects to your Gmail account using read-only access and automatically identifies job application emails in your inbox. It classifies emails into four categories — Applied, Rejected, Ghosted (no response in 60+ days), and Interviews — and displays a summary dashboard inside a Gmail side panel.

JobTally is a tool to help you understand the state of your job search. It is not a job search service, a recruitment platform, or a career counselling service. It does not apply to jobs on your behalf, communicate with employers, or take any action in your Gmail account.

Eligibility

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use JobTally.
  • You must have a valid Google account with access to Gmail.
  • You must be authorized to grant the gmail.readonly permission to the extension. If your Google account is managed by an organization (e.g., a work or school account), your administrator may need to permit third-party app access.

Free to use

JobTally is provided free of charge. There are no credits, subscriptions, or paid features. Presdin Works LLC reserves the right to introduce paid features in the future, but any free features in use at that time will not be retroactively paywalled without notice.

Accuracy and limitations

JobTally uses keyword matching and AI classification to categorize job application emails. This approach is not perfect. You should be aware of the following limitations:

  • JobTally may miss some application emails, particularly those with unusual subject lines or non-standard formatting.
  • JobTally may misclassify some emails — for example, marking a newsletter from a company as a rejection, or missing an interview invite that arrived as a calendar event rather than an email.
  • The "Ghosted" category is based on the absence of a response after 60 days. It does not confirm that an employer has definitively rejected you — only that no email response has been detected in that window.
  • AI-generated classifications may occasionally be incorrect. Results should be treated as a helpful guide, not a definitive record.

Presdin Works LLC makes no warranty that JobTally's results are complete, accurate, or up to date.

No responsibility for job search outcomes

JobTally is an informational tool. Presdin Works LLC is not responsible for your job search outcomes, decisions made based on JobTally's dashboard, or any consequences of relying on JobTally's classification of your emails. JobTally does not advise you on whether or how to respond to employers, and nothing in the extension should be taken as career advice.

Acceptable use

You may not use JobTally to:

  • Scan Gmail accounts you do not own or are not authorized to access.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the extension.
  • Attempt to abuse, overload, or circumvent the backend proxy at api.presdinworks.in.
  • Use the extension in any way that violates applicable law or Google's Terms of Service.

Third-party services

JobTally interacts with Google's Gmail API and routes AI classification requests through a Presdin Works LLC proxy to Gemini. Your use of Google services is subject to Google's own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Presdin Works LLC is not responsible for the availability, actions, or policies of Google or Gemini.

Limitation of liability

JobTally is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Presdin Works LLC is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the extension, including but not limited to inaccurate email classifications, missed emails, or reliance on dashboard results.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of JobTally after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of JobTally shall be resolved in the courts of Missouri.
